Tato diplomová práce si kladla si cíl představit vztah mezi nízkou finanční gramotností a recidivou bezdomovectví. Jednou z mnoha příčin bezdomovectví je v tomto případě nedostatek finančních prostředků vedoucí k exekucím a dluhům a nedostatečná finanční odpovědnost. Z výzkumu, který byl proveden formou kvalitativního přístupu s metodou případových studií, které byly zhotoveny pomocí pozorování a narativních rozhovorů, vyplynulo, že se nízká finanční gramotnost u osob bez přístřeší projevuje a má spojitost s jejich návratem do sociálních služeb. U dlužníků například neznalostí dlužné částky a strachem z práce na hlavní pracovní poměr, ve smyslu strachu z exekučních srážek, kdy mají dlužníci mylnou představu o srážkách a nezabavitelném příjmu. Jejich ignorování dluhů a celková finanční nezodpovědnost je tím vždy přivede zpět do azylového domu, čímž mluvíme o recidivě bezdomovectví. Výsledky budou poskytnuty sociálním pracovníkům i pracovníkům v sociálních službách v Charitě České Budějovice a studentům Zdravotně sociální fakulty Jihočeské univerzity v Českých Budějovicích. Práce má potenciál sloužit jako podklad k informovanosti o problematice bezdomovectví a vzdělávání na poli finanční gramotnosti. This dissertation was to present the relationship between low financial literacy and recurrence of homelessness. One of the many causes of homelessness in this case is lack of funds leading to foreclosures and debt and lack of financial responsibility. The research, which was carried out in the form of a qualitative approach with the method of case studies, which were made using observations and narrative interviews, showed that low financial literacy among homeless people manifests itself and is connected with their return to social services. In the case of debtors, for example, ignorance of the amount owed and fear of working as a full-time employee, in the sense of fear of enforcement deductions, when debtors have a misconception about deductions and non-disposal income. Their disregard for debt and overall financial irresponsibility will always land them back in the shelter, thus relapsing into homelessness. The results will be provided to social workers and workers in social services at Charita České Budějovice and students of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The work has the potential to serve as a basis for information on the issue of homelessness and education in the field of financial literacy.
