Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí, části teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol a osmi podkapitol. První kapitola se zaobírá základním vymezením sluchového postižení, rozdělením sluchových vad, popisem specifického vývoje dítěte se sluchovým postižením a jeho komunikací s okolím a dále informacemi o kompenzačních pomůckách u dětí se sluchovým postižením. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na téma rodina, její specifika jak ve výchově, tak komunikaci a také na druhy institucionální podpory, která je rodinám s dítětem se sluchovým postižením nabízena. Praktická část se zabývá institucionální podporou pro rodiny s dětmi se sluchovým postižením právě z pohledu rodičů. Vlastní výzkumné šetření bylo zpracováno kvantitativní metodou, prostřednictvím dotazníku, kterému náležely otevřené a uzavřené otázky, přičemž získané poznatky a jejich následné vyhodnocení jsou shrnuty v závěru práce. V kvantitativním šetření se ukázalo, že největší problém je v nedostatečné informovanosti společnosti o sluchovém postižení, a také v nedostačujícím vzdělávání lékařů v tomto oboru. Výsledky bakalářské práce budou sloužit k představě, zda je podpora pro rodiny dětí se sluchovým postižením dostatečná a co by se dle názoru rodičů mohlo zlepšit. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters and eight subchapters. The first chapter deals with the basic definition of hearing impairment, classification of hearing impairment, description of the specific development of a child with hearing impairment and his/her communication with the environment, as well as information about compensatory aids for children with hearing impairment. The second chapter focuses on the topic of the family, its specificities in both education and communication, as well as the types of institutional support offered to families with a child with a hearing impairment. The practical part deals with institutional support for families with children with hearing impairment from the parents' perspective. The actual research investigation was carried out using a quantitative method, through a questionnaire supplemented with open-ended questions, and the findings and their subsequent evaluation are summarised in the conclusion of the thesis. In the quantitative investigation, it was found that the biggest problem is the lack of awareness of hearing impairment in society, as well as the insufficient education of doctors in this field. The results of the bachelor thesis will serve to give an idea whether the support for families of children with hearing impairment is sufficient and what could be improved in the opinion of parents.
