Bakalářská práce se zabývá hazardními hráči v terapeutických komunitách se zaměřením na sociální práci. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak jsou v současné době uplatňováni sociální pracovníci při léčbě hazardních hráčů. Dále uvést jejich význam a důležitost role při práci s hazardními hráči. Hlavní výzkumná otázka byla zvolena: "Jaké metody a techniky využívá sociální pracovník při práci s hazardními hráči?" K naplnění zmíněného cíle a výzkumné otázky byla využita strategie kvalitativního výzkumu. Výzkumným souborem je 5 sociálních pracovníků v terapeutických komunitách, kteří pracují s hazardními hráči. Dále byl výzkum rozšířen ještě o 2 sociálními pracovníky, kteří pracují poradensky pouze jen s hazardními hráči, pro případné rozdíly mezi užívanými metodami a technikami. Data byla získávána technikou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru a následně vyhodnocována pomocí otevřeného kódování a axiálního kódování. Z výsledků vyplývá, že nejvíce sociální pracovníci upřednostňují individuální práci, jelikož zde mohou navázat důvěrný vztah a detailně zmapovat klientovu situaci pomocí nejčastěji používané techniky, a to rozhovoru. Dále využívají metodu práce se skupinou a rodinou, uvádějí, že při zapojení všech daných metod je léčba komplexnější. Z technik ještě mohou být dále jmenovány pozorování, prevence relapsu, edukace a pozitivní motivace. Tato bakalářská práce a její poznatky mohou být přínosem pro budoucí sociální pracovníky, kteří se chtějí zabývat prací s touto cílovou skupinou, aby získali povědomí o nejvíce využívaných metodách, technikách a přístupech při práci s nimi. Také pro současné sociální pracovníky v terapeutických komunitách či jiném zařízení, pracující přímo s hazardními hráči, co by mohli případně změnit nebo zlepšit. Bachelor thesis focuses on hazard players in therapeutic communities with the emphasis on social work. Its goal is to find out how social workers are currently used in the treatment of gamblers. Next goal is to imply the meaning and importance of social workers' role in the working process with social groups such as this one. The main research question was chosen to be: "Which methods and techniques do social workers use when working with hazard players?" In order to fulfil this goal and research question, a qualitative strategy of data collection was used. Research participants were five social workers from therapeutic communities working with hazard players. The research was later on expanded with two more social workers, focusing on consultancy for hazard players only, in order to gather more information about differences among methods and techniques used. Data were collected using the half-structured interview technique. All gathered information was evaluated with the use of open coding and axial coding methods. Results show that social workers prefer individual work the most, because it allows them to create a deeper connection with the client and collect more valuable information about their social background, while using the interview method. Next to that, the group work and family work methods are used. They say that combining all mentioned methods creates a space for more complex collaboration. From other techniques, observing, relapse prevention, education or positive motivation can be mentioned. This bachelor thesis and its findings can serve as an information source for future social workers wanting to focus on this social group, by receiving as many facts about methods, techniques and approaches towards hazard players as possible. It can also come in useful for current social workers in therapeutic communities or in other facilities that focus their work on hazard players, by showing them new possible directions for improvement.
