cze Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to analyse the nature of selected characters from the play Comedia Ymenea in order to liken them to the type of the boastful soldier. In the initial part, a definition will be established, including the definition of typical behaviour, which will eventually allow for a comparison that will reveal similarities and possible differences. The detailed analysis, which will be based mainly on the character's speeches, will result in a final observation during which it will be assessed to what extent the characters in the play resemble representativeness of the swaggering soldier.
