Diplomová práce se zabývá profesním a vědeckým osudem Františka Křížka od roku 1948. Vznikla na základě studia odborné literatury a pramenů uložených v Městském muzeu a galerii v Dačicích a ve Státním okresním archivu v Jindřichově Hradci. Nedílnou součástí práce jsou i vzpomínky dvou dačických pamětnic - jeho spolupracovnice paní Věry Tomšů a přítelkyně Naděje Jahelkové. Práce začíná návratem Františka Křížka z moravské metropole Brna do svého rodného města. Nejprve seznamuje s dačickým městským a okresním archivem, kde působil, a zároveň líčí problematické umístění této instituce. Dále stručně objasňuje Křížkův přechod do dačického muzea a popisuje celkový vývoj muzejnictví od svého počátku. Také se zaměřuje na působení badatele v této instituci a na to, co zde dokázal vybudovat. V další části se věnuje vědecké činnosti, archeologii a numismatice, v době komunistického režimu v Československu. Krátce pojednává i o jeho odborných publikacích a problémech s tím spojené. V neposlední řadě poukazuje na problematické cestování vědce do zahraničí v této nelehké době a následné vyrovnání s touto nesnází. The main subject of this diploma thesis is professional and scientific destiny of František Křížek since 1948. It was created on the basis of a study of professional literature and sources stored in the Municipal Museum and Gallery in Dačice and the State District Archive in Jindřichův Hradec. An integral part of the diploma thesis are the memories of two contemporary witnesses of Dačice - his colleague Věra Tomšů and his friend Naděje Jahelková. This thesis begins with the return of František Křížek from the Moravian metropolis of Brno to his hometown. Firstly, it introduces the Dačice city and district archive, where he worked, and at the same time describes the problematic location of this institution. It also briefly explains Křížek's transition to the Museum of Dačice and continues with the overall development of museums since its inception. The thesis also focuses on the researcher's work in this institution and what he was able to build here. The next part deals with the scientific activities, archaeology, and numismatics, during the communist regime in Czechoslovakia. This diploma thesis also briefly discusses his professional publications and the problems associated with it. Last but not least, it points to the problematic travel of scientist abroad at this hard time and the subsequent settlement of this difficulty.
