Abstract: In this bachelor's thesis, I review intraspecific and interspecific differences in the cooperative infant care in five species of callitrichids. First, I describe the differences in the development of infants, the transport of infants, and the sharing of food in given species including data from wild and captivity. The differences in infant care are compared to the energetic costs of infant care. Second, I discuss factors contributing to these differences.
