In 1897 Bram Stoker published his gothic novel Dracula, which became an immediate phenomenon in its period. The book was published in the 19th century whose society was surrounded by a lot of fear and anxieties from the unknown. My bachelor thesis aimed to analyse this literary work with a closer look at Count Dracula and his homeland Transylvania. V roce 1897 Bram Stoker vydal své gotické dílo Drákula, které se stalo okamžitým fenoménem své doby. Dílo bylo vydáno koncem 19. století, jehož společnost obklopovalo mnoho strachu a úzkostí z neznámého. Cílem mé bakalářské práce bylo analyzovat toto dílu s bližším zaměřením na hraběte Drákulu a jeho domovinu Transylvánii.
