Tato práce se zabývá kategorizovanými etickými dilematy při výkonu práce pracovníka orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí. Představuje vzniklá etická dilemata v rámci výkonu práce pracovníka orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí, která určitým způsobem ovlivňují svědomí sociálního pracovníka. Zároveň se zabývá tím, jak konkrétně etická dilemata ovlivňují sociálního pracovníka osobně, a jaký je jeho náhled na celý eticky problematický případ. Zároveň jaký dopad mají takováto vzniklá dilemata na děti a jejich rodinu. Následně tato práce popisuje, jak se takto vzniklá etická dilemata dají řešit za pomocí etiky ctností. Dílčími cíli této práce je představení celého orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí, představení problematické rodiny, která potřebuje sanovat, aby mohla obnovit své základní funkce zdravého fungování. Posledním dílčím cílem této práce je představení projevů a důsledků týraného, zneužívaného či zanedbávaného dítěte a možnosti řešení takového problému. Tato práce se skládá ze čtyř kapitol. První kapitola se komplexně zabývá orgánem sociálně-právní ochrany dětí. Druhá kapitola popisuje konkrétní činnosti orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí. Třetí kapitola se eticky zaměřuje na etická dilemata pracovníků orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí. Poslední kapitola představuje etiku ctností, a jak může tato etická teorie komplexně řešit dobrý život dětí a jejich rodin, kteří potřebují od orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí pomoci. This thesis deals with categorized ethical dilemmas in the performance of the work of an employee of the body of social and legal protection of children. It presents the ethical dilemmas arising in the performance of the work of an employee of the body of social and legal protection of children, which in some way affect the conscience of the social worker. At the same time, it deals with how specifically ethical dilemmas affect a social worker personally, and what is their view of the whole ethically problematic case. Alongside with the previously mentioned, this work inquires into the impact of such dilemmas on children and their families. Subsequently, the thesis describes how the ethical dilemmas can be solved with the help of the ethics of virtues. The goals of this work are to introduce the whole body of social and legal protection of children, to introduce a problematic family that needs to be rehabilitated in order to restore its basic functions of healthy functioning. The last goal of this work is to present the manifestations and consequences of an abused, mistreated or neglected child and the possibility of solving such a problem. This thesis has four chapters. The first chapter deals with the body of social and legal protection of children. The second chapter describes its specific activities. The third chapter ethically focuses on the ethical dilemmas of the employees of the social and legal protection of children. The last chapter presents the ethics of virtues and how this ethical theory can comprehensively address the good lives of children and their families, who need help from the child welfare authority.
