Bakalářská práce se snaží ukázat canisterapii jako prospěšnou metodu sociální terapie za pomoci psa. V teoretické části se práce zaměřuje na děti se specifickými potřebami, charakteristiku daného postižení a zároveň vhodné interakce dítěte a psa. Jsou zde uvedeny činnosti přímo pro danou specifickou poruchu za přítomnosti a pomoci psa. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na rozhovory s canisterapeutickými pracovníky, během nichž byly zjišťovány informace o práci s dětmi se specifickými potřebami a psem, a na rozhovory s učitelkami mateřských škol ohledně vhodnosti a přínosu psa v mateřské škole. K doplnění výzkumného šetření byla použita anketa zjišťující informovanost veřejnosti o canisterapii. Závěr práce je tvořen aktivitami pro interakci dítěte se specifickými potřebami a psa. The bachelor thesis aims to present canis therapy as a beneficial method of social therapy with the help of a dog. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on children with specific needs, characteristics of their disabilities and on suitable interactions between the child and the dog. The listed activities are intended directly for the specific disability in the presence and assistance of the dog. The practical part of the work is focused on interviews with canis therapy workers, on information about working with children with specific needs and the dog, and on interviews with kindergarten teachers about the suitability and benefits of the dog in kindergarten. To supplement the research, a survey was used to find out the awareness of canis therapy among the general public. The conclusion of the work lists activities for the interaction of the child with specific needs and the dog.
