Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá multisenzorickou stimulací v místnosti Snoezelen a jejím využitím u dětí se zdravotním postižením v Jihočeském kraji. Hlavním cílem je zmapovat organizace, které aktivně využívají multisenzorickou stimulaci v místnosti Snoezelen u dětí se zdravotním postižením v Jihočeském kraji. Dílčím cílem je zjistit, jakým typem místnosti Snoezelen disponují a proč tento typ místnosti pro své klienty zvolili. Teoretická část práce popisuje definice zdravotního postižení, historii metody Snoezelen, multismyslové prostředí, kompetence terapeuta a vymezuje cíle tohoto konceptu u dětí se zdravotním postižením. Praktická část práce vymezuje cíle a výzkumné otázky práce, také výzkumný soubor a etiku výzkumu. Ve výzkumné části bakalářské práce byl použit kvalitativní výzkum, sběr dat byl uskutečněn pomocí metody dotazování, technika rozhovor. K zodpovězení výzkumných otázek a dosažení výzkumného cíle byl vlastní výzkum rozdělen do předem připravených kapitol. V průběhu výzkumu byla využita analýza rozhovorů a sekundární analýza dokumentů. Na základě zjištěných výsledků lze konstatovat, že využívání metody Snoezelen je v České republice ještě v začátku a organizace ji pomalu zařazují do svých služeb. Široké využití metody Snoezelen je však její velkou výhodou. Lze ji kombinovat s mnoha dalšími metodami, jako například bazální stimulací, muzikoterapií, arteterapii, aromaterapií, ergoterapií, fyzioterapií, i logopedií, za předpokladu odborného vzdělání terapeutů/průvodců. Lze tedy říci, že metoda Snoezelen prokazatelně zlepšuje zdravotní stav klientů. The bachelor thesis deals with multisensory stimulation in the Snoezelen room and its use in children with disabilities in the South Bohemian region. The main purpose is to map the organizations which actively use multisensory stimulation in the Snoezelen room for children with disabilities in the South Bohemian Region. The partial goal is to find out what type of the Snoezelen room they have at their disposal and why they chose this type of room for their clients. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the definitions of disability, the history of the Snoezelen method, the multisensory environment, the competence of the therapist and defines the goals of this concept in children with disabilities. The practical part of the study defines the goals and research issues of the study, as well as the research group and research ethics. In the research part of the thesis, the qualitative research was used, data collection was performed using the method of questioning, i.e. the interview technique. To answer the research questions and achieve the research goal, the research itself was divided into the pre-prepared chapters. Interview analysis and analysis of the secondary documents were used during the research. Based on the results, it can be stated that using of the Snoezelen method is still in the rudimentary state in the Czech Republic and organizations are slowly including it in their services. However, the widespread use of the Snoezelen method is its great advantage. It can be combined with many other methods, such as basal stimulation, music therapy, art therapy, aromatherapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech therapy, provided that professional therapists/guides are trained. Thus, it can be said that the Snoezelen method demonstrably improves the health status of the clients.
