Tato bakalářská práce byla rozdělena na dvě hlavní části a to část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části se zabývala oborem dentální hygieny od její historie až po současnost. Dále se věnovala onemocněním dutiny ústní, dentálním pomůckám a především správné prevenci v oblasti dutiny ústní. Praktická část referovala o výzkumu, který proběhl u 100 respondentů, ve věku 20-30 let, o rozdílu dentální hygieny mezi muži a ženami. Výzkum se zabýval zjištěním, jaké mají respondenti zkušenosti s dentální hygienou a dle toho vyhodnotil rozdíly v dentální hygieně mužů a žen. Výsledné odpovědi respondentů byly vyhodnoceny a zaznamenány do grafů a tabulek. This bachelor's thesis was divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part dealt with the field of dental hygiene from its inception to present day practises. Next it conducts research into diseases of oral cavities, dental aids, and mainly with the prevention of oral cavities. The practical part reported on the research of differences in dental hygiene between men and women, with 100 respondents aged 20 - 30 years. The research looked at the respondents' experience with dental hygiene and evaluated the differences in men and woman's dental hygiene accordingly. The resulting answers of the respondents were evaluated and recorded in graphs and tables.
