Zimné teploty sa v temperátnych oblastiach zvyšujú viac než letné. Súčasný výskum sa väčšinou sústreďuje na vplyv otepľujúcej sa zimnej klímy na invazívne druhy hmyzu z juhu, ich populačnú dynamiku a šírenie do vyšších zemepisných šírok. Naproti tomu vplyv otepľujúcich sa zím na domáce druhy hmyzu, adaptované na chladné zimy, sa takmer neštuduje. Táto práca popisuje, ako rôzne scenáre "teplých zím", simulované v laboratóriu, a skutočné zimy ovplyvňujú zimné prežitie, fyziológiu a biochémiu cifruše bezkrídlej (Pyrrhocoris apterus). Winter temperatures are rising more than summer temperatures in temperate regions. Current research mostly focuses on the effects of warming winters on invasive insects from south, their population dynamics and spread to higher latitudes. On the other hand, the effects of warming winters on native species, adapted to cold winters, are hardly studied. This thesis describes how different "warm winter" scenarios, simulated in laboratory, and real winters affect overwinter survival, physiology, and biochemistry of linden bug (Pyrrhocoris apterus).
