Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na působení canisterapie na jedince se zdravotním postižením. První část bakalářské práce se zabývá stručným vymezením pojmu zooterapie, dále se zaměřuje na definici canisterapie, její historii, současnost a metody. Taktéž vymezuje jednotlivá zdravotní postižení u dětí a zabývá se vhodným výběrem asistenčního psa pro canisterapeutické působení. Druhá část zahrnuje kvalitativní výzkum, ve kterém byly získány pomocí rozhovorů s canisterapeuty informace o průběhu canisterapie s dětmi předškolního a školního věku. This bachelor thesis focuses on the impact of canistherapy on physically handicapped individuals. The first part of the bachelor thesis deals with a brief definition of the term of ´zootherapy´, further it focuses on the definition of canistherapy, its history, its present, and methods. It also defines individual disabilities in children and it deals with a suitable choice of an assistance dog for the effect of canistherapy. The second part includes a qualitative research which, with the help of interviews with canistherapists, gained information on the process of canistherapy for pre-school and school children.
