Bakalářská práce se zabývá pohledem vnoučat na potřeby jejich prarodičů. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo popsat potřeby prarodičů pohledem jejich vnoučat. Dílčím cílem bylo zjistit, jakou představu mají vnoučata o svém zapojení v rámci péče o své prarodiče. Dalším dílčím cílem bylo zjistit, co podle vnoučat mohou jejich prarodiče postrádat v rámci sociálních služeb. Hlavní výzkumná otázka zněla: ,,Jaké potřeby vidí vnoučata jako zásadní pro zajištění kvality života svých prarodičů?" Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část se zabývá stářím a stárnutím, potřebami ve stáří, kvalitou života, rodinou a vnoučaty, péčí o seniory v rodině, ageismem a typickými sociálními službami pro seniory. Pro praktickou část byl zvolen kvalitativní výzkum, metoda dotazování a technika polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Účastnilo se sedm komunikačních partnerů. Z výsledků vyplývá, že vnoučata považují rodinu jako důležitou součást života jejich prarodičů. V životě svých prarodičů považují za důležité udržení si zejména rodiny, domova, přátel, koníčků nebo také udržení si jejich prestiže. Bylo zjištěno, že pokud to bude v možnostech vnoučat, mají zájem se v některých oblastech angažovat v rámci péče o jejich prarodiče. Většina vnoučat se domnívá, že v rámci poskytování sociálních služeb by jejich prarodičům něco chybělo. Chyběl by jim někdo, koho znají, přátelé, komunikace, jejich domov, soukromí, životní partner, volnost nebo také jejich prestiž. Bakalářská práce může posloužit k náhledu mladých lidí a k rozšíření všeobecného povědomí o potřebách seniorů. Mohla by být využita pro zlepšení informovanosti rodiny ohledně problematiky seniorů. Dále by mohla sloužit k náhledu studentů oborů sociální práce. The bachelor thesis is focused on the view of grandchildren on the needs of their grandparents. The main aim of this thesis was to describe the needs of grandparents from the perspective of their grandchildren. A partial aim was to determine what an idea grandchildren have about their involvement in caring for their grandparents. Another partial aim was to describe what according to grandchildren may lack their grandparents in social services. The main research question was: ,,What needs grandchildren see as essential to ensure the quality of life of their grandparents?" Bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part is discussed about the old age, quality of life, family and grandchildren, care for seniors in the family, ageism and typical social services for seniors. For the practical part was chosen qualitative research, method of questioning and technique of semistructured interview. Seven communication partners participated. The results show that grandchildren consider the family as an important part of their grandparents' lives. In the life of their grandparents, it is important to maintain especially their family, home, friends, hobbies or to maintain their prestige. It was found, that if grandchildren will be able, they want to participate in taking care of their grandparents in some areas. Most grandchildren think that their grandparents would be missing something in social services. They would miss someone they know, friends, communication, their home, privacy, life partner, freedom, or their prestige. The bachelor thesis can serve to insight young people and to broaden the general awareness of the need of seniors. It could be used to improve the family's awareness of the elderly. Furthermoe, it could be used as a preview to students of social work.
