Bakalářská práce se zabývá kvalitou života seniorů a jejich potřebami v domovech pro seniory. První kapitola se zabývá stárnutím a stářím, rozdělením stáří a přípravou na stáří. Ve druhé kapitole jsou popsány lidské potřeby a jejich dělení, poté je pozornost zaměřena na potřeby seniorů a na specifické potřeby seniorů v domovech pro seniory a bariéry v jejich naplnění. Třetí kapitola pojednává o kvalitě života a o jejím dělení a měření, soustřeďuje se na kvalitu života ve stáří a na souvislosti kvality života a potřeb seniorů v domovech pro seniory. Závěrečná kapitola popisuje domovy pro seniory, poté se zabývá standardy kvality sociálních služeb, individuálním plánováním, důrazem na životní příběh klienta a spoluprací s rodinou seniora, jakožto nástroji, které významně ovlivňují naplňování specifických potřeb a tím ovlivňují kvalitu života seniorů v domovech pro seniory. The bachelor thesis deals with the quality of life of seniors and their needs in the retirement homes. The first chapter describes ageing and old age, division of old age and preparation for old age. The second chapter describes human needs and their division, then attention is focused on the needs of seniors and on the specific needs of seniors in the home for the elderly and barriers to their fulfillment. The third chapter deals with the quality of life and with their division and measurement, than focus on the quality of life in old age and on the context of quality of life and the needs of seniors in the homes for the elderly. The final chapter describes the homes for the elderly, then discusses the standards of quality of social services, individual planning, using the client's life story in care and cooperation with the family of seniors as tools that significantly affect the fulfillment of specific needs and thereby affect the quality of life of seniors in the homes for elderly.
