Tato diplomová práce se zabývá etickými dilematy, která řeší rodiče pečující o své dítě s těžkým kombinovaným postižením tělesné a mentální složky, v kontextech možnosti pomoci ze strany sociálního pracovníka. V práci jsou nejprve z obecného pohledu charakterizovány rodiny, které mají ve svém středu člověka se zdravotním postižením, sociální služby těmto osobám určené a kompetence sociálních pracovníků. Na bázi etiky dochází k propojení uvedených poznatků a ke specifikaci konkrétních etických dilemat. Ta jsou vybrána na podkladě třech typologických případů, rodičů klientů denního stacionáře Radovan, a podle toho jsou zařazena do třech okruhů. Každý okruh je eticky analyzován, převážně z pohledu křesťanské etiky a zároveň je u něj navržena pomoc ze strany sociálního pracovníka. The subject of this thesis are ethical dilemmas faced by the parents who look after children with severe combined disabilities of physical and mental nature and help that is provided to them by a social worker. The first part of the thesis focuses on characteristics of families with a disabled member, social services the families can access and general competencies of social workers. Based on ethical assumptions we then combine these characteristics with examples of ethical dilemmas that might arise. These are chosen based on 3 typological examples observed at parents of clients of day care centre Radovan which we devided into 3 main fields. Each field is elaborated from an ethical point of view, in particular Christian ethics also known as moral theology, and appropriate approach of a social worker is suggested based on the analysis.
