Probiotika jsou živé mikroorganismy, které při vhodném dávkování podporují rozvoj a funkci mikrobioty jedince, a tím i celkové zdraví. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření posoudit informovanost veřejnosti o probioticích a zhodnotit nabídku probiotických preparátů na našem trhu. Z 551 respondentů jich většina (63 %) věděla, co jsou to probiotika, jaké mají účinky (96 %) a v jakých potravinách se nejčastěji nachází (81 %). Průzkumem trhu s probiotiky bylo zjištěno, že nabídka těchto doplňků stravy na našem trhu je velmi široká. Celkem je k dispozici 72 synbiotických a 12 probiotických doplňků stravy od 41 firem. Probiotics are living microorganisms that, when properly dosed, support the development and function of an individual's microbiota, and thus overall health. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to assess the public's awareness of probiotics through a questionnaire survey and to evaluate the offer of probiotic preparations on our market. Of the 551 respondents, the majority (63 %) knew what probiotics are, what effects they have (96 %) and in which food they are most abundant (81 %). The research of the probiotic market found that the offer of these supplements in our market is very wide. A total of 72 synbiotic and 12 probiotic food supplements from 41 firefighters are available.
