Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na důvody vzniku a současnou podobu Evropské unie. Dále popisuje vstup České republiky do Evropské unie a analyzuje jednotlivá programová období, do kterých se Česká republika zapojila. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je analyzování významu Evropské unie v každodenním životě občanů České republiky a jejich pohled na výhody či nevýhody členství České republiky v Evropské unii. Dílčím cílem je poukázání na některé projekty financované z fondů Evropské unie, které jsou prospěšné občanům České republiky, nejen v běžném životě. The European Union has had a big impact in citizens' lives of the Czech Republic since 2004 when it joined the EU. The bachelor's thesis focuses on the founding and expansion of the European Union, the accession if the Czech Republic and advantages and disadvantages of European Union membership for Czech citizens. In the bachelor thesis there is carried out an extensive analysis of individual programming periods and benefits of subsidies from EU funds. The aim is to determine the attitude of Czech citizens towards the EU and their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with EU membership. The results of this evaluation are detected by a survey and used for organizations which inform the public about EU for example Europe Direct Information Centre.
