Předmětem této diplomové práce je popis proměn kraje Adalberta Stiftera od roku 1945 do současnosti. Proměnami není myšlena pouze fyzická transformace krajiny a obcí, ale také změny v oblasti kulturního a společenského života, přičemž zastoupeno je také ekologické, ekonomické, demografické a sociologické hledisko. Regionálně je práce vymezena pěti nejvýznamnějšími současnými obcemi regionu {--} Horní Planou (Oberplan), Černou v Pošumaví (Schwarzbach), Frymburkem (Friedberg), Lipnem nad Vltavou (Lippen) a Přední Výtoní (Herrauffl). Ostatní místa a obce Stifterova rodného kraje, který je dnes znám jako Lipensko, jsou kvůli rozsahu práce zmíněny minimálně. První část připomíná nejslavnějšího rodáka Adalberta Stiftera. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována především vztahu umělce k rodnému kraji, vyzdviženy jsou především Stifterovy humánní evropanské postoje. Druhá část je věnována odsunu místních sudetských Němců po konci druhé světové války a situaci v kraji do roku 1948. Třetí je velmi krátká, popisuje období, po roce 1948 a časově se částečně kryje s následující kapitolou, v níž je zaznamenána výstavba vodní nádrže Lipno a všechny zásadní proměny kraje s ní související. V poslední části práce je popsán vývoj vesnic po roce 1989. Důraz je kladen především na znovunavázání vztahů s německými rodáky, kulturnímu a společenskému životu, turistickému ruchu a perspektivám kraje do budoucna. V práci je čerpáno z mnoha zdrojů, informace jsou získávány z rozhovorů s pamětníky událostí, místních kronik, české a německé literatury, novinových článků i internetových stránek. The topic of the thesis is a description of the Adalbert Stifter´s land changes since 1945 by present. It is not only a physical transformation of the land which is focused here but also cultural, social, ecological, economical, demographical and sociologic changes. From the view of the regions, the thesis deals with five most important towns: Horní Planá (Oberplan), Černá v Pošumaví (Schwarzbach), Frymburk (Friedberg), Lipno nad Vltavou (Lippen) and Přední Výtoň (Herrauffl). Other places are mentioned marginally due to the extent of the thesis. The first chapter reminds the most famous native Adalbert Stifter. A special attention is payed to the artist´s relation to his native land and his humane Europeanish attitudes. the second chapter deals with the local Sudet Germans´ transfer after the end of the WWII and the situation in the land by 1948. The third chapter is very short, it describes a short period after 1948 and from the view of time it overlaps with the following chapter partly. There is the building of the Lipno dam in the fourth chapter and all the changes of the land which relate to it. In the last, fifth chapter, there is a description of the villages development after 1989. The german natives relations reunion is focused in this chapter as well as the cultural and social life, turism and the perspectives of the land for the future.
