Cílem diplomové práce bylo zhodnotit konkurenceschopnost vybraného podniku s využitím metod strategického řízení a finanční analýzy. Pro naplnění cíle byla nejprve vypracována literární rešerše. V praktické části byly teoretické poznatky aplikovány na vybraný podnik. Mezi provedené metody patří: PEST analýza, Porterův model pěti sil, analýza konkurentů, analýzy atraktivity odvětví, finanční analýza, zhodnocení oblasti řízení lidských zdrojů, klíčové faktory úspěchu a analýza konkurenceschopnosti. Aby byl cíl skutečně naplněn bylo v další části provedeno dotazníkové šetření a řízený rozhovor s manažerem podniku. Výsledky provedených metod strategického řízení byly shrnuty vypracováním SWOT analýzy. Následně byla navržena vhodná doporučení pro posílení konkurenceschopnosti dané organizace. The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the competitiveness of a selected company using the methods of strategic management and financial analysis. To fulfill the goal, a literary review was first made. In the practical part, the theoretical knowledge was applied to a selected company. The methods performed include: PEST analysis, Porter's five forces model, competitor analysis, analysis of industry attractiveness, financial analysis, evaluation of human resources management, key success factors and competitiveness analysis. In order to fulfill the goal, a questionnaire survey and a guided interview with the company manager was conducted in the next part. The results of the implemented strategic management methods were summarized by elaborating a SWOT analysis. Subsequently, appropriate recommendations were proposed to strengthen the competitiveness of the organization.
