Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá problematiku fair trade a jeho využití v České republice. Teoretická část práce popisuje pojem fair trade, jeho principy, standardy, certifikaci a jeho stručnou historii. Dále věnuje pozornost problematice pěstování kakaových bobů v rozvojových zemích a pojmu čokoláda. Zaměřuje se také na osobnost a nákupní chování spotřebitelů v České republice a na to, jak správně řídit maloobchod s cílem maximalizovat poptávku po kakaových produktech fair trade. Pro výzkum je použita metoda dotazníkového šetření a pozorování. Zkoumána je nabídka kakaových produktů s označením Fair trade cocoa v maloobchodních řetězcích a poptávka po těchto produktech. Dále povědomí veřejnosti o fair trade a chování spotřebitelů. Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je tedy prozkoumat nabídku výrobků označených Fair trade cocoa v maloobchodních prodejnách a povědomí a zájem o tyto výrobky mezi spotřebiteli. Na základě zjištění pak navrhnout opatření pro zvýšení prodeje. This thesis analyses the issue of fair trade and the possibility of using its principles in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the reasons for formation of fair trade, its current status and issue of cultivating cocoa beans in developing countries. It also focuses on personality and consumers' shopping behaviour in the Czech Republic and how to manage properly a retail store in order to maximize the demand for Fair trade cocoa products. The method of questionnaire survey and observation is used for the research. It examines the offer of Fair trade cocoa products in retail stores, the range of demand, public awareness of fair trade, and consumer behaviour. Thus, the main objective of this thesis is to explore the supply of Fair trade cocoa products in retail outlets and the awareness and interest of these products among consumers.Then propose measures to increase sales of products with the Fair trade cocoa labels and also to summarise of the general public interest in this issue.
