Cílem bakalářské práce je zanalyzovat a zhodnotit činnosti a kompetence účetních a navrhnout různé typy vzdělávání, které by napomohlo tyto schopnosti vylepšit. Dalším cílem je navrhnout optimální pracovní náplň zaměstnanců na pracovní pozici účetní. Analýza kompetencí a činností probíhala prostřednictvím dotazníků, jehož respondenty jsou zaměstnanci na pracovní pozici účetní. Data získaná z dotazníků byla vyhodnocena pomocí Mann-Whitneyůva U testu a Chí-kvadrát testu v prostředí programu STATISTICA. Na základě výsledků byla navržena pracovní náplň tak, aby pokrývala veškeré povinnosti, které účetní v rámci své pozice musí splnit, ale zároveň je ponechán prostor pro specifické požadavky klientů. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the activities and competencies of accountants and to propose various types of education that would help improve these skills. Another goal is to suggest an optimal workload of employees for the accounting position. The analysis of competencies and activities was carried out by questionnaires whose respondents are employees in the accounting position. The data obtained from the questionnaires were evaluated using the Mann-Whitney U test and the Chi-square test in the STATISTICA environment. Based on the results, the job description was designed in such way to cover all the duties the accountant has to fulfill within his / her position and equally leaving room for specific requirements of clients.
