Abstract: The aim of this study was to help answering the question, on whether the larvae of C.Costata accumulates the trehalose metabolite. Furthermore, the aim was to measure the relative frenquencies of the transcripts of the coding genes in the photoperiodically sensitive 3rd instar larvae. Moreover, we created a map of metabolism of trehalose.
