Práce si klade za cíl teoreticky popsat sociální práci v kontextu péče o lidi s Alzheimerovou chorobou primárně v domácím prostředí a poukázat na specifika, která s sebou práce s touto cílovou skupinou přináší. V práci je charakterizována Alzheimerova choroba tak, jak je to podchyceno v odborné literatuře. Dále je popsána péče o nemocného v domácím prostředí, specifika komunikace s nemocným a zátěž pečujícího. V práci je uvedeno, jaké jsou možnosti pomoci a podpory ze strany sociální práce vůči nemocnému i pečující osobě a teoreticky popsány možnosti nefarmakologické léčby. The object of this undergraduate thesis is to theoretically describe social work focused on in-home care for patients with Alzheimer's disease and to highlight specific features of this target group. This work contains characteristics of Alzheimer's disease as described in academic literature. Also, it covers the topic of in-home care, specific features of communication with the patient and the strain laid on the social worker. Finally, this thesis lists the options of help and support of social work towards both the patient and the social worker and focuses on possibilities of nonpharmacologic treatment.
