The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the concept of freedom and its manifestations in George Gordon Byron's Childe Harold's Pilgrimage. Passages in the poem, where the topic appears are discussed and analyzed in the philosophical, social and literary context of the period (including the work of Byron himself). The conclusion sums up the main points of the bachelor thesis. Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza konceptu svobody a jejích projevů v díle George Gordona Byrona Childe Haroldova Pouť. Práce podrobně mapuje konkrétní pasáže z díla, v nichž se autorovy myšlenky ohledně zkoumaného konceptu objevují a analyzuje je ve filozofickém, sociálním a literárním kontextu doby (včetně samotného literárního díla Byronova). Podstatné myšlenky práce jsou pak shrnuty v závěrečné části.
