Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je analýza ekonomických indikátorů a jejich soustav. Tyto indikátory se používají pro hodnocení ekonomického výkonu vybraných států. Je nezbytné těmto indikátorům a jejich vypovídacím schopnostem porozumět za účelem zvyšování životní úrovně země. Práce porovnává státy Visegrádské čtyřky a Německo, jako stát s nejsilnější ekonomikou v Evropě. První část je věnována teoretickému popisu makroekonomických ukazatelů a kompozitních indikátorů, které kvantifikují životní úroveň země. Zároveň jsou zde charakterizovány metody, které se používají pro komparaci států. Druhá část práce obsahuje vlastní komparaci vybraných států. Pro tuto analýzu byly použity data z hospodářských výhledů Organizace pro hospodářskou spolupráci a rozvoj a Statistického úřadu Evropské unie. Vyhodnocená data byly následně použity pro vícekriteriální hodnocení variant. Výsledkem diplomové práce bylo zhodnocení hospodářského vývoje zemí Visegrádské čtyřky a Německa. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze economic indicators and their construction. These indicators are used for the evaluation of the economic performance in selected states. It is very necessary to understand these indicators and their telling abilities in order to increase the living standard of the country. This thesis compares countries of the Visegrad Group and Germany, as a state with the strongest economy in Europe. The first part is focused on the theoretical description of indicators including composite indicators, which quantify the standard of living and methods, which are used for a comparison of states. The second part contains the comparison of selected countries. For this analysis are used data of economic outlooks of OECD and Eurostat Then evaluated data are used for Multi-criteria Decision Making. The result of the thesis is the evaluation of economic development in the Visegrad Group and Germany.
