Práce se zabývá psychosomatikou jako oborem. Popisuji zde propojení mezi tělem a duší. Definuji pojem zdraví, nemoc, některé psychosomatické potíže a faktory ovlivňující vznik těchto nemocí. V praktické části je zjišťována prevalence jednotlivých obtíží - kožní problémy, chronické bolesti, gastrointestinální obtíže, poruchy přijmu potravy, alergie, astma a migrény konkrétně u studentů Jihočeské univerzity. V dalších bodech je zkoumána vzájemná spojitost mezi vyskytovanými problémy, životním stylem a individualitou jedince. Výzkumný problém je řešen pomocí statistické metody korelace, která objasní vztah mezi jednotlivými aspekty. The thesis deals with psychosomatics as a discipline. I describe the connection between body and soul. I define the concept of health, illness, some psychosomatic problems and factors influencing the origin of these diseases. The practical part examines the prevalence of individual problems - skin problems, chronic pain, gastrointestinal problems, eating disorders, allergies, asthma and migraines specifically at the students of University of South Bohemia. In the following points, the interrelationship between the problems encountered, the lifestyle and the individuality of each personparticipating in the research are examined. The research problem was solved by using the statistical method of correlation, which found out the relationship between individual aspects.
