Cílem mé bakalářské práce je popsat sociální situaci v Českých Budějovicích v letech 1945 až 1950. V práci je nejprve obecně popsána historie města a historie sociální a zdravotní péče od jeho založení po rok 1945. Poté se již podrobněji zabývám sociální prací mezi léty 1945 až 1950. Pokusila jsem se s pomocí dostupné literatury vykreslit reálnou situaci v Českých Budějovicích v tomto období. Poslední kapitola se věnuje stejnému tématu z pohledu tehdejšího tisku. Zaznamenává obecné informace o novinách, rozdíly v jednotlivých periodicích a odlišné přístupy vydavatelů. My bachelor's thesis aims to describe the social situation in České Budějovice through the years 1945 to 1950. It starts with an overview of the history of the city and the history of social and health care since its foundation in 1945. Then it examines in greater detail the social work between the years 1945 and 1950. I tried to depict the actual situation in České Budějovice in this period by using available literature. The last chapter is dedicated to the same topic but from the view of the press of that period. It notes the basic information about newspapers, differences between individual periodicals, and the publishers' different approaches.
