Tato Ph.D. dizertační práce je zaměřena na nově vyvinutý mobilní upward-looking systém, který umožňuje studium nedestruktivní metodou bezobratlých a ryb v blízkosti vodní hladiny. V první části jsme studovali chování horizontálního zvukového paprsku pomocí standardního cíle ve známé hloubce. Ve druhé části jsem porovnal nově vyvinutý upward-looking systém s vlečnou sítí s možným sledováním juvenilních ryb, zda zaznamenané údaje odpovídají skutečnosti. Ve třetí části jsme použili dvě různé frekvence k odlišení larev Chaoborus od nejmenších juvenilních ryb. V poslední části jsem porovnal nový systém a velmi používanou metodu tenat. Tato práce je prvním krokem ke zlepšení studie povrchových vrstvev vod. This Ph.D. thesis is focused on the new developed mobile upward-looking system, which allows to study with non-destructive method invertebrates and fish near the water surface. In the first part, we studied behaviour of a horizontal sound beam, using a standard target at a known depth. The second part, I compared the newly developed upward-looking system with fry trawl to possibly monitoring juvenile fish whether the recorded data correspond to reality. In the third part, we used two different frequencies to differentiate Chaoborus larvae from the smallest juvenile fish. In last part, I compared new system and a very used passive gillnets method. This work provides an initial step towards the improvement of study water surface layer.
