V této diplomové práci je předkládána filipínská míra jako jedno z kritérií školní zralosti a její závislost na jednotlivých základních tělesných rozměrech. Pro tuto diplomovou práci byly sledovány základní tělesné rozměry (- tělesná výška, výška vsedě, tělesná hmotnost, rozpětí paží) u dětí od 4 do 8 let. Dále byla vypočítána délka dolního segmentu těla odpočtem výšky vsedě od tělesné výšky. Z některých naměřených údajů byly vypočítány indexy : výška vsedě k výšce těla, rozpětí paží k výšce těla a délka dolního segmentu těla k výšce těla. Získané údaje byly statisticky vyhodnoceny a výsledky jsou předkládány ve formě tabulek a grafů s průvodním textem. Důležitou část tvoří data základních tělesných rozměrů a věku ve vztahu k filipínské míře. Na základě našich výsledků a provedených měření se jeví dovršení šestého věku dítěte jako minimální požadavek pro začátek školní docházky. Optimálnějším řešením by bylo posunutí věkové hranice spíše dozadu cca o čtvrt až půl roku. This thesis presents the Philippine measurement as one of the criteria for school maturity and its dependence on individua) Basic physical dimensions. The Basic physical dimensions of four to eight-year-old children (natural height, height in sitting position, body weight, span of arms) were monitored for the purpose of this thesis. Then, the length of the lower segment of the body was calculated by taking the height in sitting position off the natural height. Some of the measured data were used to calculate indices: the height in sitting position to the natural height, the span of arms to the natural height and the length of the lower segment to the natural height. The data were statistically interpreted and the results put finto tables and graphs accompanied by texts. The data of the Basic physical dimensions and the age in relation to the Philippine measurement are an important part. On the basis of our results and measurements, the age of six is appeared to be a minimum requirement to start school. A more optima) solution would include postponing the age limit by about three to six months back.
