[cze][eng] Práce si klade za cíl přiblížit oblast sociálně angažovaného umění na území střední a východní Evropy. Snaží se postihnout specifika vývoje tohoto typu umění v zemích bývalého východního bloku od druhé poloviny devadesátých let do současnosti a nalézt způsob hodnotících kritérií. Součástí práce je analýza rozsáhlého konceptu s názvem Vize pro novou kulturu a její místo, kterou umělkyně Sráč Sam kontinuálně rozvíjí od roku 1989. Záměrem práce bylo nastínit škálu přístupů současné sociální umělecké praxe. Text obsahuje představení terminologie doplněné o případové studie. Dále jsou přiblíženy historické předobrazy této praxe v jednotlivých státech střední a východní Evropy, s přihlédnutím k odlišným podmínkám na Západě a v bývalém východním bloku. Ústřední část práce sleduje realizace po roce 1989. Poslední část je věnovaná popisu koncepce Vize pro novou kulturu a její místo. The author has attempted to describe the specific characteristics of the history of this type of art in the former Eastern Bloc countries since the second half of the 1990s and to find appropriate evaluation criteria. The paper also includes an analysis of the extensive conceptual project titled Vision for New Culture and Its Place, which the artist Sráč Sam has been developing since 1989. The aim of the paper was to identify the range of approaches of contemporary social practice in art. The text introduces the relevant terminology and also includes case studies. The author also described the historical predecessors of this practice in the various countries of Central and Eastern Europe, with a view to the different conditions in the West and in the former Eastern Bloc. The main part of the paper looks at works made after 1989. The final part describes the conceptual project Vision for New Culture and Its Place.
