Cílem této práce je shrnout dosavadní znalosti o vlivu složení střevní mikrobioty na poruchy chování u vybraných savců a ptáků. Současný výzkum se věnuje vlivu střevní mikrobioty na rozvoj duševních onemocnění u lidí a možnému terapeutické využití manipulace s jejím složením. Práce hlavní mechanismy vlivu mikrobioty na rozvoj duševních onemocnění krátce shrnuje. Střevní mikrobiota může mít vliv i na rozvoj poruch chování u zvířat. Literatura naznačuje, že změny složení mikrobioty u lidí s duševním onemocněním a zvířat s poruchami chování sdílejí jistou podobnost. Obecně se týkají především snížené abundance vybraných rodů bakterií produkujících mastné kyseliny s krátkým řetězcem a zvýšené abundance gram-negativních bakterií. Výjimku tvoří destruktivní poruchy chování u zvířat, které jsou spojeny se zvýšenou abundancítřídyClostridiaasníženouabundancíroduLactobacillus. Pro prevenci jejich rozvoje pod vlivem stresu práce navrhuje probiotické využití bakterie Lactobacillus rhamnosus. Pro manipulaci složení mikrobioty je v léčbě depresivní poruchy u lidí možné využít podání probiotik, transplantace fekální hmoty od zdravého dárce nebo úpravu stravování podle stravy středomořského typu. Klíčová slova: porucha chování, welfare zvířat, stres, deprese, stereotypní chování, mikrobiota, osa mikrobiota-střevo-mozek The aim of this study is to summarize the current knowledge on the influence of gut microbiota composition on behavioural disorders in selected mammals and birds. Current research focuses on the influence of gut microbiota on the development of mental illnesses in humans and the potential therapeutic use of manipulating its composition. This paper briefly summarizes the main mechanisms of microbiota influence on the development of mental illnesses. The gut microbiota may also influence the development of behavioural disorders in animals. The literature suggests that changes in gut microbiota composition in humans with mental illnesses and animals with behavioural disorders share some similarities. In general, they are related mainly to a reduced abundance of selected genera of short-chain fatty acid producing bacteria and an increased abundance of gram-negative bacteria. The exceptions are destructive behavioural disorders in animals, which are associated with increased abundance of the Clostridia class and decreased abundance of the Lactobacillus genus. To prevent their development under stress, the thesis proposes the probiotic use of Lactobacillus rhamnosus.
