Bakalářská práce "Třetí role univerzity - od elitního k masovému vzdělávání" se zabývá konceptem masifikace v terciárním vzdělávání a vlivu masifikace vzdělávání na obor sociologie na Fakultě sociálních věd v Praze a Fakultě Filozofické v Praze. Cíl bakalářské práce je zjistit a následně porovnat, jakým způsobem reflektují tyto dvě skupiny studentů změny spojené s masifikací a jak tyto změny ovlivňují jejich motivaci a postoj ke studiu. Výchozím konceptem bakalářské práce je již zmíněný koncept masifikace, díky kterému je možné částečně analyzovat změny na vysokých školách spojené s expanzí a navyšováním počtu studentů, které ovlivňují nejen postoj studentů ke vzdělání, ale také jejich samotnou motivaci ke studiu. V teoretické části bakalářské práce se zabývám obecným vysvětlením konceptu masifikace a jeho působení na obor sociologie vyučovaný na Fakultě sociálních věd v Praze a Fakultě Filozofické v Praze. V empirické části popisuji výzkumný design práce a následnou analýzu získaných dat. Pomocí analýzy polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se studenty dvou pražských fakult zodpovídám, zdali změny spojené s masifikací mají vliv na studenty sociologie a zdali se liší motivace ke studiu mezi studenty sociologie na Filozofické fakultě a Fakultě sociálních věd. The bachelor's thesis "The Third Role of the University - from Elite to Mass Education" deals with the concept of massification in tertiary education and its influence on the field of sociology at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Prague and the Faculty of Philosophy in Prague. The aim of a bachelor's thesis is to understand and then compare how these two groups of students reflect the changes associated with massification and how these changes affect their motivation and attitude to study. The starting concept of bachelor's thesis is the already mentioned concept of massification, which makes it possible to partially analyse changes in universities associated with expansion and increase in student numbers that affect not only students' attitudes to education, but also their very motivation to study. In the theoretical part of my bachelor's thesis, I am engaged in a general explanation of the concept of massification and its effect on the field of sociology taught at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Prague and the Faculty of Philosophical Studies in Prague.
