Název: Syndrom karpálního tunelu u studentů VŠ a osob ve věku 40 - 60 let Cíle: Hlavním cílem této práce je zjištění populačního výskytu syndromu karpálního tunelu u skupiny studentů vysokých škol ve věku 25 - 30 let a skupiny dospělých ve věku 40 - 60 let. Metody: Výzkum se skládá z kvantitativní metody. K získání dat byl využit dotazník, který obsahoval tři provokační manévry. Jednalo se o Phanel's Test, Compression Test a Wrist Flexion Test. Výzkum byl doplněn měřením síly stisku pomocí dynamometru, který měl potvrdit výskyt syndromu karpálního tunelu. Testovány byly dvě skupiny probandů. První skupinou byli studenti VŠ ve věku 25 - 30 let a druhou skupinou byli dospělí ve věku 40 - 60 let. Po interpretaci získaných dat byla provedena statistická analýza. Výsledky: Výsledek výzkumu předpokládá jeden výskyt u skupiny studentů VŠ a dva výskyty u skupiny dospělých ve věku 40 - 60 let. U těchto probandů vychází tři pozitivní vyšetření a potvrzené dynamometrem. Jedná se pouze o pravděpodobný výskyt, který by byl potřeba potvrdit vyšetřením na elektromyografii. Methods: The research consists of a quantitative method. A questionnaire containing three provocative maneuvers was used to obtain data. These were the Phanel's Test, Compression Test and Wrist Flexion Test. The research was supplemented by measuring the hand grip using a dynamometer, which was to confirm the occurrence of carpal tunnel syndrome. Two groups of probands were tested. The first group were university students aged 25 - 30 and the second group were adults aged 40 - 60. For the measured data was performed statistical analysis. Results: The result of the research assumes one occurrence in a group of university students aged 25 - 30 and two occurrences in a group of adults aged 40 - 60. These probands have three positive examinations and confirmed by a dynamometer still, the occurrence is just probable, that would need to be confirmed by electromyography.
