Bakalářská práce řeší problematiku zapojení {\clq}qInformačních center pro mládež`` (ICM) jako specializovaných institucionálních subjektů do celého komplexu volnočasových aktivit, výchovy mimo vyučování, zájmového i neformálního vzdělávání. Zpracovává danou problematiku z celoevropského pohledu i v rámci konkrétních podmínek, které jsou aktuálně k dispozici v České republice a zejména v Jihočeském kraji. Cílem práce bylo zjistit jakou roli mají ICM ve vztahu k mimoškolním aktivitám dětí a mládeže. V praktické části jsou zmapována specifika činnosti ICM a struktura klientů ICM. Dále je průzkumem zjišťováno, jaké informační zdroje využívají klienti při výběru svých mimoškolních aktivit, důvody návštěvy ICM a způsob, jak klienti ICM tráví svůj volný čas. The thesis deals with the issues of integration of the ``Youth Information Centres{\crq}q (YIC) as specialised institutional subjects into the entire complex of leisure time activities, out-of-school education, and both special interest and informal education. It covers the given topic from the all-European point of view as well as in the frame of the factual conditions that are currently at disposal in the Czech Republic, particularly in South Bohemia. The aim of the thesis was to establish the role of YIC in relation to extracurricular activities of young people. In the practical part, the specifics of the YIC activities and the structure of YIC clients are mapped out. In addition, a research shows the information sources used by the clients when choosing their extracurricular activities, the reasons of their visit to YIC, and the way the YIC clients spend their leisure time.
