Tato diplomová práce se zabývá dynamikou změn systému uličního názvosloví ve městě Mělníku od druhé poloviny 19. století do současnosti. Jedná se o ucelenou případovou studii, která se řadí pod obor historické toponomastiky, respektive její části věnované urbanonymii. Práce shrnuje, popisuje a analyzuje problematiku uličních názvů, které se nacházely v průběhu sledovaného období ve městě Mělníku. Práce je rozdělena na pět základních částí z toho první část tvoří analýza a heuristika dostupných pramenů zejména pak dokumentů úřední povahy, které jsou součástí Archivu města Mělníka a archivu Odboru výstavby a rozvoje Městského úřadu Mělník. Například se jedná o zápisy městské rady, zápisy městského národního výboru, dopisy atd. Druhá kapitola, která je rozdělena na dílčí podkapitoly podle období, se věnuje historickému vývoji mělnické urbanonymie a jejím změnám. Třetí částí je obecná toponomastická analýza mělnického uličního názvosloví z pohledu základních onymických funkcí urbanonym a z pohledu problematiky využívání honorifikačních názvů. Další kapitolu tvoří úplný jmenný výkladový seznam jednotlivých uličních názvů, ve kterém jsou zaznamenány chronologicky jednotlivé změny názvů a vysvětlení jejich motivace pojmenování v historii. This diploma thesis deals with the dynamic changes of the street terminology system in the town of Melník from the second half of the 19th century to the present. There are cases where it is necessary to study, which are located under the field of historical toponomastics, respecting its parts that have urbanonymy. The works carry out, show and analyze the issue of street names that move in the town of Melník during the period under review. The work is in five places, the first part of which consists of analysis and heuristics, which allows the analysis of documents, especially documents that are focused on documents that are part of the Melnik archive and Archive of Department of Construction and Development of the Municipal Office in Mělník. Remember that you keep in mind the city councils, you write down the city's national committee, letters etc. The second chapter, which is part of the subchapter by period, lists historical developments that have urban and significant changes. The third place is the municipal toponomastic analysis of Melnik street terminology from the point of view of basic onymic functions of urban names and from the point of view of the use of honorification names.
