Cílem práce je popis faktorů, které ovlivňují přesnost matematických výpočtů v programování. Je zde kladena pozornost hlavně na operace s formátem čísel s pohyblivou řádovou čárkou, který upravuje norma IEEE-754. Práce obsahuje srovnání některých výpočtů v jazycích Matlab a Python a také ukázku vlivu architektury jednotlivých procesorů na výsledky výpočtů. The goal of this thesis is to describe factors which influence the accuracy of mathematical calculations in programming. Main focus is on floating point number format operations, which is regulated by the IEEE-754 standard. This work includes comparison of some calculations in Matlab and Python and also a demonstration of the influence, that processor architecture has on final results.
