Nerovnoměrná distribuce toku látek je stav, při němž vzniklé lokální teplotní či rychlostní extrémy mohou významně ovlivnit provoz zařízení. Přesto se současná průmyslová praxe věnuje predikci distribuce toku látek jen velmi omezeně, především v rámci analýzy příčin provozních potíží zařízení a v oblasti detailních numerických analýz finálních návrhů. Naopak v oblasti úvodního návrhu zařízení je tato problematika silně zanedbána, což negativně ovlivňuje spolehlivost výsledného zařízení. Dizertační práce proto představuje vyvíjený kompozitní modelovací systém, který umožňuje systematicky a efektivně zahrnout predikci distribuce toku látek do výpočetních postupů se zaměřením na zařízení pracující v konvekčním režimu přenosu tepla a bez změny fáze pracovních látek. Navržený kompozitní modelovací systém zasahuje do tradičních výpočtových postupů ve dvou úrovních -- v rámci stanovení nerovnoměrné distribuce toku pracovních látek a jejího následného dopadu na přenos tepla v zařízení. V rozsáhlé rešerši dostupných výpočtových metod a přístupů, které slouží k predikci a analýze proudění a distribuce tepla v konvekčních výměnících, jsou diskutovány jejich možnosti a omezení. V návaznosti na tento rozbor jsou detailně analyzovány vybrané separátní modely. Nerovnoměrnost distribuce toku média v trubkovém prostoru zařízení se standardními válcovými komorami je stanovena pomocí diferenciálního 1D modelu. V zařízení, jehož komory mají nekonstantní průtočný průřez, je distribuce toku látky predikována diskrétním (algebraickým) 1D modelem. Za předpokladu, že je požadováno zohlednit vliv nerovnoměrného toku látky v mezitrubkovém prostoru výměníku a zároveň nejsou k dispozici naměřená data, využívá kompozitní modelovací systém data ze zobecněného CFD modelu simulujícího tok tekutiny v širokých kanálech. Informace o distribuci pracovních látek pak využívá adaptovaný maticový model pro 2D analýzu přenosu tepla v zařízení. Dále jsou v práci prezentovány provedené modifikace použitých výpočtových metod. Přesnost a aplikovatelnost vyvíjených modelů je ilustrována na vybraných průmyslových úlohách. Další oblastí výzkumu, která je v práci popsána, je úprava toku prostřednictvím modifikace tvaru distribuční komory, konkrétně lineární změny výšky distributoru. Zvláště u geometrie s optimalizovanou modifikací bylo dosaženo velmi dobrých výsledků, a to zlepšení distribuce toku média o 7 %. Představený kompozitní modelovací systém umožňuje rychle a přesně identifikovat slabá místa klasického návrhu procesního zařízení. Použité metody, které doplňují tradiční tepelně-hydraulické výpočty trubkových výměníků tepla s křížovým tokem, jsou výpočetně nenáročné, a jak ukázalo srovnání s komerčním softwarem, jsou zároveň i dostatečně přesné. V závěru práce je nastíněno další směřování vývoje kompozitního modelovacího systému jako součásti uceleného rámce tzv. low-cost modelování spalovacích zařízení pro procesní průmysl.

Their capabilities and limitations are discussed in an extensive overview of available computational methods and approaches for predicting and analysing convection heat exchangers' flow and heat distribution. Non-uniform flow distribution is a state in which the local temperature or velocity extremes can significantly affect the operation of the equipment. Nevertheless ;
selected models are examined in detail. The non-uniformity of the fluid flow distribution in the tubular space of an apparatus with standard cylindrical headers is determined utilising a differential 1D model. In equipment whose chambers have a non-constant cross-section ;
the composite modelling system uses data from a generalised CFD simulation of fluid flow in wide ducts. The information on the distribution of the working fluids is then used by the adapted matrix model for 2D heat transfer analysis in the equipment. Furthermore ;
the modifications made to the employed computational methods are presented in this thesis. Selected industrial cases illustrate the accuracy and applicability of the developed models. Another research area described in the thesis is the management of the flow by modifying the shape of the dividing header ;
this issue is strongly neglected ;
very good results have been achieved ;
which complement the traditional thermal-hydraulic calculations of tubular cross-flow heat exchangers ;
