cze Abstract:
In my thesis, I present results of experimental research on selective predation by aquatic insects, specifically on the role of predator and prey body size, microhabitat distribution, and selected behavioural traits on the strength of predator-prey interactions. The role of aquatic vegetation in mediating predator-prey interactions by providing refuges for prey or perching sites for predators was further addressed. Citation: KLEČKA, Jan.
