Tématem bakalářské práce je návrh mateřské školy o dvou odděleních. Zadaná parcela se nachází v městské části Stránice nedaleko Náměstí Míru a parku Kraví hora a tvoří součást zahrady Cyrilometodějského gymnázia. Na této parcele se nachází volná nezastavěná plocha o rozměrech přibližně 30 x 50 m, která byla pro stavbu mateřské školy vyčleněna. Návrh využívá možnosti umístit hlavní vstup z ulice Havlíčkova, díky čemuž mateřská škola funguje jako samostatný provoz, oddělený od zbytku školy. Umístěním tříd do nižšího podlaží vzniká přímá vazba na zahradu a klidovou zónu odcloněnou od ulice. Výraz stavby je umírněný a snaží se reagovat na okolní architekturu, která je z velké části tvořena stavbami ve stylu funkcionalismu. Z ulice stavba působí jako nízká horizontální hmota se vstupem zapuštěným v hluboké nice a střední vystupující částí střechy. The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design of a two-departments kindergarten. The subjected plot is located in city quarter Stránice, in vicinity of Náměstí Míru and park Kraví hora and is a part of garden of Cyrilometodějské gymnasium. There is free, undeveloped area of aproximately 30 x 50 m, that was chosen for the building of kindergarten. The proposal uses a possibility of entrance from street Havlíčkova, thanks to which kindergarten is a independent unit, separated from the rest of the gymnasium. By placing the departments into the lower level a direct connection between departments and garden with a resting zone separated from the street has been created. The expression of the building is attempting to react to the surrounding architecture, that is mainly created by buildings in architectural style of functionalism. In point of view from the street, building looks as a low horizontal mass with an entrance in a deep niche and a middle, cantileverd part of roof.
