Cílem této práce je prozkoumat, jak pracují učitelé na 1. stupni ZŠ se slovní úlohou z pohledu jazykové a situačně-kontextové roviny úlohy. Dále se práce zaměřuje na přístupy učitelů k práci se slovní úlohou a identifikaci jevů směřujících k některému z kognitivních módů - paradigmatickému či narativnímu -, které popisují J. S. Bruner (1986) a O. Chapmanová (2006). Hlavní výzkumnou metodou je pozorování učitelek při práci se slovní úlohou ve třídě, rozhovor s učitelkami a žáky. V teoretické části práce je vymezena slovní úloha a je věnována pozornost slovní úloze z hlediska jazyka a kontextu. Je zde popsán poznávací proces myšlení žáka a dva přístupy řešení problémů - narativní a paradigmatický - podle J. S. Brunera a jejich aplikace při řešení slovních úloh, které se věnovala O. Chapmanová. Dále je popsáno zakotvení slovních úloh v rámcovém vzdělávacím programu a specifikace nestandardních slovních úloh. Praktická část je postavena na kvalitativním výzkumu. Výzkum je navržen tak, aby poskytl objektivní informace o tom, jaký přístup volí učitelé při práci se slovní úlohou a jakým způsobem pracují s její jazykovou a situační rovinou. Výzkum proběhl ve dvou etapách, každá z nich je rozdělena do čtyř fází - rozhovor s učiteli o jejich běžné práci se slovní úlohou, pozorování práce učitele s... The focus of this thesis is to investigate how the elementary school teachers work with mathematical word problem from the perspective of language and situational-contextual level of word problem. Furthermore it is focused on the teachers' work approach to the word problem and identification of phenomena oriented to one of cognitive modes - paradigmatic and narrative described by J. S. Bruner (1986) and O. Chapman (2006). The main research method of this thesis is based on observing how the teachers work with the word problem in class and interviewing them as well as pupils. In the theoretical part of the thesis the mathematical word problem is determined, and it is focused on the word problem on the level of language and context. The cognitive functioning of pupil is described as well as the two problem solving approaches - narrative and paradigmatic by J. S. Bruner, and their application during solving the word problem according to O. Chapman's elaboration. Furthermore the definition of word problem and specification of non-standard word problem in curriculum document FEP BE is described. The practical part is based on qualitative research.
