Předmětem diplomové práce byla konverze, rekonstrukce, revitalizace a extenze prostoru a objektu komplexu „Opera“ a dotčených ploch kostry veřejného prostoru jako sekundárního jádra pro umělecké aktivity ve městě a regiónu. Město Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou má hlubokou hudební historií, která sahá až do barokního období, kdy zde žil moravský šlechtic Jan Adam z Questenberka.
The subject of the diploma thesis was the conversion, reconstruction, revitalization and extension of the space and object of the "Opera" complex and the affected areas of the public space skeleton as a secondary core for artistic activities in the city and region. The town of Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou has a deep musical history, dating back to the Baroque period, when the Moravian nobleman Jan Adam of Questenberk lived here. Jaroměřice was a center of intense musical life, a theater was played here, where the public was also involved. Furthermore, the creation of the first Czech surviving opera On the Origin of Jaroměřice in Moravia, composed by František Antonín Václav Míča. In 2000, the musical spirit was followed by the Petr Dvorský Festival, which takes place in the Jaroměř Castle Gardens and adjacent villages. The proposed building consists of the existing Opera Hotel and the adjacent Department Store. The existing hotel complex is not fully utilized in the current situation looking for a solution. The department store has a similar problem, it does not fill its area sufficiently. Its location together with the shop is dominant due to the square. Between these two houses there is a significant alley from the station to the castle. The aim of the whole complex was to revive, beautify, brighten up and positively make the surroundings of the square and thus the whole city, district, region visible.
