[cze][eng] Bakalářská práce mapuje problematiku informovanosti pacientů na chirurgickém oddělení ve znojemské nemocnici. Pacient, který je dostatečně informován o rizicích, o léčbě nebo o možnostech, které má k dispozici, může aktivně upozorňovat na případnou nespokojenost a zvolit si zdravotnické zařízení, kde se bude cítit bezpečně. Dostatečně informovaný pacient se stává klientem, který je schopen se sám svobodně rozhodnout, zda chce podstoupit rizika a často i nepříjemnosti spojené s léčbou. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část předkládá pohled na problematiku informovanosti pacientů. Pozornost je zaměřena především na problematiku pacientů chirurgického oddělení, kde se pacient většinou podrobuje invazivním chirurgickým zákrokům a měl by tedy být řádně informován o svém zdravotním stavu, povaze zákroku a o dalších právech s tím souvisejících. Tato část práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol, ve kterých je stručně popsána charakteristika chirurgického oddělení, základní práva pacienta společně s právní úpravou zaměřující se na tuto problematiku a na možná rizika v komunikaci mezi zdravotnickým personálem a pacienty. Cílem praktické části práce je zjistit, v jaké míře jsou pacienti chirurgického oddělení informováni o svých právech. Hypotéza č.1 předpokládá, že pacienti jsou dostatečně informováni o svých právech. Hypotéza č.2 předpokládá, že pacienti chirurgického oddělení svá práva využívají. K ověření nebo vyvrácení hypotéz je použit kvantitativní výzkum, provedený prostřednictvím metody dotazování (technika dotazníku) a metody analýzy dokumentů (sekundární analýza dat). Cíl práce byl splněn. O zlepšení informovanosti se mohou pacienti zasadit například tím, že se budou zajímat alespoň o svá základní práva a budou je uplatňovat ve zdravotnictví. Větší míry informovanosti u pacientů lze dosáhnout také pomocí aktivního přístupu jak ze strany pacientů, tak i zdravotnických pracovníků. The thesis provides a survey on awareness of patients in the surgical department in hospital of Znojmo. The patient who is sufficiently informed of the risks, of treatment or the options available can behave actively in the event of any discontent and discomfort if it is necessary. The informed patient can also chose the health care facility where he (she) will feel safe. The sufficiently informed patient becomes a client able to decide freely whether to run the risks and inconvenience often associated with the treatment. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the issue of patients´ awareness. Attention is focused on patients in a surgical department where the majority of patients undergo invasive surgical procedures and therefore they should be properly informed about their health condition, the nature of surgery and other related rights. The thesis is divided into four chapters in which characteristics of surgical departments, fundamental rights of the patient together with the legislation focused on this issue and on possible risks in communication between medical staff and patients are described. The objective of the practical part was to determine to what extent patients are informed of their rights. Hypothesis 1 assumes that patients are adequately informed of their rights. Hypothesis 2 assumes that patients in surgical departments utilize their rights. To verify or reject these hypotheses quantitative research conducted through the interrogation method (questionnaire technique) and methods of documents analysis (secondary data analysis) were used. The objective was achieved. The patients themselves may seek the information at least on their fundamental rights and apply the rights in the health sector. Greater awareness of patients can also be achieved through a proactive approach on the part of both patients and health professionals.
