Tato bakalářská práce se teoreticky a prakticky zabývá problémem kvality života dospělých celiaků. Cílem mé práce bylo zjistit, jak tato nemoc ovlivňuje jejich život po zdravotní, psychické, ekonomické a sociální stránce. V teoretické části práce jsem popsala původ, symptomy, epidemiologii a léčbu celiakie. Rovněž jsem se věnovala zdravotně sociálním důsledkům této choroby. Ve výzkumné části jsem pracovala s kvantitativní metodou výzkumu {--} dotazníkem. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 82 dospělých celiaků (71 žen, 11 mužů), kteří byli vybráni náhodným výběrem. Ze sebraných dat jsem vytvořila dotazníky a výsledky jsem uvedla v procentech. Otázky dotazníku byly zaměřeny na specifické problémy celiaků. Zjistila jsem, že celiaci trpí svými zdravotními problémy stejnou měrou jako omezeními v jejich stravovacích zvycích a sociálním životě. Jejich prožívání může ovlivnit vznik psychických problémů. Kromě toho většina celiaků považuje bezlepkovou dietu za finančně velmi náročnou a nedostávají od státu žádné dorovnávací příspěvky, jak je to běžné v mnoha evropských zemích. V tomto problému je stále významnější role členských spolků celiaků. Výsledky své práce poskytnu Společnosti pro bezlepkovou dietu. The thesis for this baccalaureate work theoretically and practically deals with issues of the lives of adults with Celiac Disease. The aim of my work was to find out how this disorder affects people{\crq}s lives in terms of health, as well as their psychological, economic and social conditions. In the theoretical part of this thesis, I described the origin, symptoms, signs, epidemiology and treatment of Celiac Disease. I have also discussed associated health and social problems. In the practical part I used a questionnaire, according to the quantitative method of research. The investigated group comprised 82 adults with Celiac Disease (71 women, 11 men), who were determined by random selection. All of the data I have obtained has been transferred into diagrams and results were expressed as percentage values. The questions were aimed at respondents{\crq} dealings with their specific problems. I found that people with Celiac Disease in the Czech Republic do suffer from health problems, but not as much as from the many restrictions in their eating habits and social life, which may lead to some resulting psychological problems. In addition, the Gluten-Free Diet is very expensive for a majority of people, who have no financial compensation from the state, while in many countries in Europe such compensation is common. Regarding the Czech governments{\crq} approach to those who suffer with celiac disease, while they are in the process of reaching European standards, the role of support groups in all mentioned problems is important. Accordingly, the results of my work will be submitted to the Czech Society for Gluten-Free Diet.
