Práce je zaměřena na hru a její možnosti v rozvoji jedince. První kapitola se zabývá otázkou, co je to hra a popisuje základní znaky hry. Dále vymezuje podstatné pojmy související s hrou: zážitek a prožitek, hraní rolí a hračka. Druhá kapitola zjišťuje jaký význam má hra pro člověka. Především pak, jaké jsou možnosti působení hry na rozvoj psychických i fyzických vlastností a schopností. Třetí kapitola popisuje specifika hry ve vývojových fázích jedince. Zabývá se tím, jak se mění osobnost a spolu s ní i role hry. The work is focused on the game and it is possibilities in the development of an individual. The game is and describes it is basic charakteristics. Futher more it defines essential terms related to the game: experience, the role game and the toy. The second chapter finds out what singnificance the game has for a man. Above all, what the game effects are in the development of mental and physical characteristics and abilities. The third chapter describes game specifics in the development phases of an individual. It focuses on how a personality and the role of the game change.
