Přibývá seniorů s duševní poruchou, kteří musí být umisťování do ústavních zařízení pro zhoršující se zdravotní a psychický stav. Nejen rodina, ale i personál v těchto zařízeních si musí uvědomit, že posilování pocitu sounáležitosti a příslušnosti k určité skupině je pro jedince, který se přestává orientovat v sobě i okolním světě, nedílnou součástí holistické péče. Bakalářská práce na téma Rozdíly v uspokojování afiliačních potřeb u klientů na gerontopsychiatrických odděleních v ČR a Nizozemí se zabývá problematikou uspokojování potřeb lásky a sounáležitosti u seniorů s duševní poruchou, kteří jsou umístěni v zařízeních ošetřovatelského typu. Výsledky výzkumu mohou posloužit sestrám a studentům pochopit význam potřeb lásky a sounáležitosti a přimět je k činnostem, které povedou k uspokojování těchto potřeb. The number of seniors suffering from a mental disorder, which have to be placed in an institutional facility due to their declining health and mental condition, has been increasing. Both family and the staff in such facilities should realise that strengthening the feeling of fellowship and belonging to a certain group is an integral part of holistic care for individuals who are ceasing to take bearings in themselves as well as their surroundings. This B.A. dissertation deals with the issue of meeting the needs of love and belonging of seniors suffering from a mental disorder placed in a nursing-type institutional facility. The research results can help nurses and students understand the significance of the needs of love and belonging and make them do activities resulting in meeting these needs.
