Firbinogenu podobné proteiny (FREP) jsou lektiny, které se pravděpodobně účastní procesů imunity bezobratlých. V naší laboratoři byl již dříve izolován protein FREP z hemolymfy klíštěte O. moubata, Dorin M. V této práci byly v hemolymfě klíštěte Dermacentor marginatus detekovány protilátkami proti Dorinu M čtyři proteiny nazvané DMFREP1, DMFREP2, DMFREP3 a DMFREP4. Tyto proteiny FREP byly charakterizovány biochemickými metodami, purifikovány a lokalizovány v tkáních klíštěte imunofluorescencí. Proti proteinům FREP byly rovněž připraveny polyklonální protilátky. Fibrinogen-related proteins (FREP) are lectins with possible functions in invertebrate immunity. Previously, a FREP protein from the hemolymph of the tick Ornithodoros moubata, Dorin M, was isolated and characterised in our laboratory. In this study, four FREP proteins named DMFREP1, DMFREP2, DMFREP3, and DMFREP4 were detected with anti-Dorin M antibodies in the hemolymph of the tick Dermacentor marginatus. These FREP proteins were characterised by biochemical methods, purified, antibodies directed against these proteins were produced and the proteins were localised to tick issues by immunofluorescence.
