Tato práce se zabývá osobností současného českého skladatele Emila Hradeckého. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována jeho sborové tvorbě. V první kapitole autorka blíže představuje Emila Hradeckého jako hudebního pedagoga, skladatele a vydavatele. V navazující kapitole pak mapuje Hradeckého hudební tvorbu obecně, včetně jeho metodických příruček a instruktivních skladeb. Jádrem práce je potom část, která se zabývá Hradeckého sborovou tvorbou. Nabízí kompletní výčet Hradeckého skladeb a rozbor několika skladeb, které ilustrují jeho rozmanité kompoziční styly. Význam práce spočívá právě ve zmapování Hradeckého sborové tvorby, obzvláště s přihlédnutím k faktu, že o tomto skladateli ještě nebyla vydána žádná monografie. Autorka proto doufá, že tato práce přispěje k rozšíření obecného povědomí o této skladatelské osobnosti. This thesis deals with the figure of contemporary Czech composer Emil Hradecký with a special respect to choral compositions. In the first chapter the author introduces Emil Hradecký as a mUSlC teacher, composer and publisher. In the following chapter she describes Hradecký's music work in general, inc1uding his methodological handbooks and instructive pieces. The core of the thesis is the part which focuses on Hradecký's choral works. It contains a complete list of his choral works and analysis of several works which il1ustrate his various compositional styles. The significance of this thesis is in its survey of Hradecký's choral works, especially due to the fact that a monograph about this composer has not been published yet. The author hopes that this thesis might contribute to extending of the general knowledge about this composer.
