Tato práce je věnována halucinogennímu kaktusu Lophophora williamsii a jeho rituálnímu užití u indiánských skupin Huicholů a Tarahumarů, žijících v severozápadním Mexiku. Autorka zde popisuje historii užívání tohoto kaktusu, jeho účinky, a především srovnává jeho úlohu v životě Huicholů a Tarahumarů. This paper is dedicated to hallucinogenic cactus Lophophora williamsii and its ritual usage in indigenous Huichol and the Tarahumara groups living in Northwest Mexico. The author describes the history of the use of this cactus, its effects, especially compared to its role in the life of the Huichol and the Tarahumara.
