[cze][eng] ABSTRAKT, Vnitřní klima a možnosti řízených aktivit u klientů s mentálním postižením v zařízeních v ČR a USA. Cílem této práce je zjistit a porovnat vnitřní klima a možnosti řízených aktivit v zařízeních v ČR a v USA. Cíl byl splněn pozorováním vnitřního klimatu v organizacích a vyhodnocením otázek v dotazníku, které vztahují k charakteru sociálního klimatu organizace. Z rozhovoru s vedoucími zařízení vyplynulo, že v organizaci RTR, Inc. v USA není nabízeno vyšívání, pletení, háčkování, modelování, práci s počítačem, jízda na kole, jízda na koni, práce na zahradě a péče o hospodářská zvířata. To je 9 činností z 36 uvedených v dotazníku, což je 25 %. V českých organizacích není nabízena práce s počítačem a bowling. To jsou 2 činnosti z 36 uvedených v dotazníku, což je 5,5 %. Domnívám se tedy, že se hypotéza H1: V USA využívají širší nabídku řízených aktivit než v ČR, se NEPOTVRDILA. V dotazníku v otázkách, vztahujících se k charakteru sociálního klimatu organizace, zařízení v ČR získaly 10 bodů a v USA 12 bodů. Domnívám se tedy, že hypotéza H2: V systémech Home group v USA je vnímání sociálního klimatu vyšší než v zařízeních v ČR, se POTVRDILA. Systém Group home je podobný chráněnému bydlení v ČR. Na rozdíl od ČR žijí v tomto systému klienti všech druhů a stupňů postižení. Group home má za úkol integrovat lidi s postižením do společnosti a umožnit jim žít život, co nejvíce podobný životu v rodině. Domy systému Group home jsou součástí běžné městské zástavby, od které nejsou nikterak odděleny. Život klientů v USA je více podobný životu intaktní populace než v ČR. V ČR se na klienty stále pohlíží jako na nemocné pacienty, o které se musí pečovat a kteří se musí léčit. V USA se klienti tolik nesetkávají s léčebnými terapiemi jako v ČR, ale jsou více začleněni do života, velice podobného intaktní společnosti. Klienti v ČR mají možnost uspokojení většiny svých potřeb uvnitř organizace. Z toho vyplývá, že mají menší potřebu vycházet ven z organizace, do prostředí majoritní populace. Výsledkem výzkumu k hypotéze H2 se prokázalo, že v USA organizace pečuje více o své zaměstnance než v ČR. ABSTRACT The social atmosphere and possibility of guided activities clients with mental disabilities in CR and USA Finding out and contrasting a social atmosphere within the facilities in the Czech Republic (CR) and the USA as well as the possibilities of guided activities in there was the main objective of this thesis. The objective was met by observing the social atmosphere in organizations and analysing the responds of a questionnaire concerning the atmosphere. Following an interview with the facility{\crq}s management it can be stated that the American organization Road To Responsibility, Inc. does not offer 9 activities out of 36 referred to in the questionnaire (25%). On the other hand, Czech organizations do not make available 2 activities out of 36 activities listed in the questionnaire (5.5%). It can be therefore assumed that the hypothesis H1 - The US facilities provide a more extensive range of guided activities than the Czech ones - was NOT CONFIRMED. The questionnaire enquiries concerning the nature of the social atmosphere in organizations resulted in 10 points for the Czech ones as opposed to 12 points for those in the USA. Consequently, it can be stated that the hypothesis H2 - The awareness of the social atmosphere throughout the American Home Group system is higher than in the Czech facilities - was CONFIRMED. The research results concerning the H2 confirm that the US organizations look after their employees much more than in the CR. The Home Group system is similar to nursing homes in the CR. However, clients of all types and degrees of disability live there unlike in the CR. The Home Group{\crq}s task is to integrate disabled people into the society and afford them the opportunity to live a life most similar to a normal family life. The Home Group{\crq} houses are a part of a regular housing development and are not in any way separated. The life of American clients is more similar to the life of the intact population than the life of the Czech clients. In the CR, the clients are still considered sick patients who must be taken care of and be treated. The American clients do not meet medical therapies in such a way like in the CR and they are much more included in life similar to the life of the intact population. The Czech clients can satisfy most of their needs within the organization, therefore they do not feel the need to get out of the organization into the environment of majority population.
